Desert Insects

This is one of my favorites

We saw many many butterflies

This little scorpion was less than half an inch long. We were told it was much more dangerous than it's larger cousin above.

 

These large colorful spiders were all over the grassy areas of the desert.

We had no idea tarantulas inhabited the desert until we came across this one crossing the road.

This one crossed the trail right in front of us on our way to the desert pool.
