Lash President Publishes First Children's Book
Lash President Laurel M. Sheppard has published her first children's book,
Florence and the Flabulous Flumpinger. A portion of the royalties and
profits will be donated to The Smile Train, a children's charity that
provides free cleft surgery to more than 35,000 children who would otherwise
never receive it. The Smile Train receives no government support and instead
relies on the support of generous individuals and organizations. One hundred
percent of all donations goes towards helping children with clefts.
